Terms of use
Last updated: October 9, 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses WhereLeaf.: shoppers, business owners, suppliers and advertisers. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. What we are (and are not)
WhereLeaf. is an information directory of licensed cannabis businesses and the suppliers that serve them. We don't grow, sell, deliver or handle cannabis, and we don't take orders or payments for cannabis products. Any purchase happens directly between you and the business, under that business's own terms and the law where it operates.
2. Adults only, and only where legal
- You must be of legal age where you live to use this site: 21 or older in the US, and 18 or 19 or older in Canada depending on your province or territory.
- Cannabis laws differ by country, state, province and city, and cannabis remains illegal under US federal law. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you. Never take cannabis across state, provincial or national borders.
3. Information on the site
- Business pages (hours, menus, prices, photos, license details) are supplied by the businesses or gathered from public sources. We work to keep them accurate but can't guarantee every detail is current. Check with the business before you go.
- Our guides and strain descriptions are general information, not legal, medical or financial advice. Strain effects are described only as commonly reported experiences. Talk to a qualified professional about your own situation.
- Sponsored posts, featured listings and banner ads are paid placements and are labeled as such.
4. Reviews and other content you post
Reviews must be your own honest experience as a customer. We remove reviews that are fake, paid for, written by a business about itself or a competitor, abusive, or that share someone's private information. You keep ownership of what you post, but you give us permission to show it on the site.
5. Business and supplier accounts
- Only list a business you own or are authorized to manage. Retailers and delivery services must hold a valid license where they operate and keep their license details accurate.
- Listings may not make medical or health claims, advertise to minors, offer products that are illegal where the business operates, or offer shipping across state or national borders.
- You are responsible for your account and password, and for everything posted from it.
- We may review, edit for format, hide or remove any listing or account that breaks these terms or the law, or that we can't verify.
6. Paid plans and advertising
Featured listings, supplier packages and banner ads run for the period and price shown in your order or invoice. Ads must follow these terms and the advertising rules where they appear. We may decline or remove an ad that doesn't. Payment, renewal and refund details are set out in your order confirmation.
7. Things you may not do
- Copy large parts of the directory, or scrape it with bots, without our written permission.
- Try to break into accounts, overload the site or get around its security.
- Use the site to arrange illegal sales, or to send spam.
8. Our content
The WhereLeaf. name, logo, design, guides, infographics and strain library belong to us. You may share links and short quotes with credit. Please ask before republishing full articles or images.
9. Links to other sites
We link to business websites, regulators and other sources. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.
10. No warranty and limits on liability
The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses that come from using the site, from relying on its information, or from dealing with any business listed on it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
11. Changes and ending access
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can close your business account at any time by contacting us.
