About Gelato
Gelato is a hybrid from the San Francisco Bay Area, bred by Cookie Fam Genetics from Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies. Several phenotypes exist, and the best known is Gelato #33, nicknamed Larry Bird after the basketball player’s jersey number.
Gelato smells sweet and creamy, with layers of berry and a bright citrus lift. Caryophyllene often anchors the profile with a peppery warmth, limonene is the terpene behind many citrus scents, and humulene adds a subtle earthy, herbal note. The buds are usually dense, with purple and green hues, orange pistils and a thick coat of trichomes.
People often report a euphoric, relaxed and happy experience with Gelato, and many reserve it for the evening. THC levels commonly fall between 20% and 25%, though potency varies by grower and batch.
That strength makes Gelato a better fit for experienced consumers, although its popularity means plenty of newer consumers are curious about it too. Either way, start low and go slow, and check the lab results on the package. Find Gelato at licensed dispensaries and delivery services near you on WhereLeaf.
For adults of legal age. Not medical advice. THC and CBD vary by grower and batch — check the product label. Effects vary by person. Start low, go slow, and never drive high.
